If you are interested in a particular brand of equipment, make sure you are getting the model you really want.

Much like a vehicle, each brand of heating and cooling equipment comes with a variety of models and features. Almost all manufacturers have a “high-end” and “basic” model, and though the tag on the front of the unit may state the brand’s name, it’s very important to confirm that it carries the warranties and features you want. This is especially important when comparing prices from other dealers in order to compare “apples to apples” when gathering estimates.

Always ask that the model number and applicable warranties and features be given to you in writing prior to purchasing the unit. This will ensure you are getting exactly the equipment you want.
