Air Purification Systems

There are several options of air purification systems available through Comfort Care:

• Low-Voltage Air Cleaner Systems can be easily installed in conjunction with your current furnace system.  While purifying the air, this filter system takes the place of your current furnace filter and is considered a permanent filter, one which can be cleaned and re-installed as necessary.
  
  
• The Honeywell F-150 Media Filter is installed in the duct work, with some sheet metal modifications required.  This is a four-inch thick media filter, which requires replacement at least twice a year.
  
  
• The Honeywell F-300 is an electronic air cleaner that has permanent filters that can be easily removed, washed and reinstalled.  Sheet metal modifications are required for the installation of the F-300 as well.
  
  
• The AprilAire^®5000 Air Cleaner has a combination media filter, which requires changing every six months, as well as an electronic component that “zaps and traps” particles using line voltage.  This type of air cleaner requires sheet metal modifications.
  
  
• The AprilAire^®4200/4400 Air Cleaner has a disposable filter which lasts one to two years and captures 76% of the particles in your home. It is a MERV 13 filter with Self Seal™ technology for more efficient operation.
  
  
• The American Standard^® AccuClean^™ is installed in your current ductwork, and is a permanent fileter that can easily be slide out for vacuuming. Requires sheet metal modifications.

Comfort Care also installs a variety of UV lights which work in conjunction with the filter in the furnace.
